Breast Cancer Survivors Cars for Breast Cancer

This IRS approved 501 (c) 3 Non Profit Organization accepts cars, boats, trucks, vans, SUVs, jet skis, snowmobiles, trailers, motorcycles, motorhomes, forklifts, tractors and any other kind of heavy equipment. If whatever you want to donate has wheels or moves forward, call them and check, but they'll probably check.

Cars for Breast Cancer also offers free towing, so all you have to do is fill out the online form, or call them at 800-648-1902 (they have 24/7 phone support) and they will send someone to pick up your car. Please do note that I can't find a listing for this charity in Charity Navigator or on CharityWatch.org. They may be listed under a different name, maybe. The Breast Cancer Survivors site does say they give 92% of their donations directly to "individuals undergoing treatment for breast cancer who are unable to meet their basic living expenses due to the impact of their disease."

This charity outsources their car donations to DonateACar.com, also known as America's Car Donation Center. You can give them a car, or a boat, or an RV, but that's it. They do offer free towing, but you should know this charity and donateacar.com do not actually give cars to needy people -- they're still in the "auction them off for cash toward the charity" business.
